This online training is mandatory, regardless of prior training, for all JROTC instructors, DAIs and  personnel assigned to a DAI office.  This training must be completed no later than 18 Sep 09.  The links below will direct you to the required training as well as Policy Memo 17.  The training is time consuming so do not wait until the last minute.  The tasks which must be completed are:

1.  Complete Removable Media Handling Online Training.

2.  Complete Anti-Phishing Training Online Training.

3.  Complete Personally Identifiable Information Handling Online Training.

4.  Complete DOD IA Awareness Training Online Training.

5.  Review Policy memo 17.

6.  Individual users will perform a review of all folders and documents on PCs, laptops, and any other storage media in a user's possession.  Delete any PII information not absolutely needed to perform the mission.

7.  Individual users will remove any unauthorized software that may be installed on the device.   

8.  Individual users will ensure that the appropriate physical security measures are taken to safeguard the devices (i.e. cable locks for laptops, devices stored behind at least one locking mechanism).
